‘The National Curriculum provides pupils with an introduction to the essential knowledge that they need to be educated citizens. It introduces pupils to the best that has been thought and said; and helps engender an appreciation of human creativity and achievement.’
This is our curriculum for the first half term in Autumn 2021
If you would like further information regarding your child’s curriculum, please contact Mrs Arnold who will arrange a meeting with a member of the Leadership Team.
The school delivers a broad and balanced curriculum which is stimulating and effective.
The school has it’s own unique ARCS Curriculum. ARCS Curriculum is A Real Life, Creative, Skills based Curriculum, providing rich experiences for the children in school. Contextual learning opportunities conducted in creatively designed spaces support all pupils in becoming life long learners. Pupils are offered a “toolkit for learning” which considers the attitudes, values, skills and thinking required for “deep” learning.
