Our Awards page celebrates the recognition our school has received for excellence in education and community engagement. These awards reflect the dedication of our staff, the enthusiasm of our pupils, and our commitment to providing a high-quality learning environment. We are proud of these accomplishments and continue to strive for excellence in all that we do.

In February 2024, we received the Inclusion Quality Mark The award is a prestigious designation for UK schools holding the Inclusive School Award that demonstrate exemplary, sustained, and innovative inclusion practices. Schools that receive the 'Centre of Excellence' award, act as mentors, sharing best practices across networks, and are evaluated on their capacity to lead and influence others.
The School Games Mark is a government-led award scheme. It celebrates schools' commitment to developing competitive sport within their school and community. For the current academic year, we have been graded 'Gold' standard.
The Knowsley Healthy School awards aim to recognise and encourage schools’ contribution in providing healthy environments for their pupils and staff. It celebrates positive actions that schools are delivering in terms of healthy eating and physical activity and aims to identify next steps to improve their provision. We were awarded 'Bronze' status in March 2026
We are a proud partner of the Shakespeare North Playhouse in Prescot. Our partnership allows us to engage with an inspiring venue for educational workshops and theatre visits.

The School Partnerships programme with the Ogden Trust encourages and facilitates schools to focus on:
- teacher professional development to help improve the teaching of physics; empowering teachers so they can inspire their students to take physics further.
- the wider learning environment, including support for technicians and teaching assistants, and investment in physics learning spaces and resources.

purposeful enrichment through family and community group engagement, and networking with local employers to provide a range of broader physics experiences for pupils.
In 2019 were shortlisted to the final four for Eco School Project of the Year for our commitment to empowering children to drive change and improve their environmental awareness.
In 2017 we won the Innovation In Education Award at the Educate Awards in Liverpool. The judges were impressed with our innovative 'Enhanced Provision' offerings in History and Geography.
We’re proud to announce that we were the winners of the 2016 Innovative and Creative Literacy Award! The Judges were blown away by our magical approach to reading and writing and loved our Emerald City caravan!
